A model, influencer, activist, and mother, Teigen balances her busy life with being a mom. Married to singer John Legend, together they have two kids Luna (2) and Miles (10 months). She constantly uploads videos of her kids doing things that make her laugh, along with the things they do that prove to be a challenge. She keeps things very real on her social media, normalizing the struggles that people often hide. She uploaded this adorable video of her daughter, Luna, who recently got a new bed. However, instead of excitement about her new setup, Luna seemed more focused on the placement of her stuffed animals. Chrissy found the humor in her daughter’s priorities, posting the comical video to Instagram.
Naturally, her fans took to the comments to fawn over the adorable nature of her daughter. However, one troll commented on the video saying, “Bikini pics only. You were a model nobody cares about your kids.” Nevertheless, the fabulous Chrissy Teigen took it in stride, quipping back and replying “yeah well now that I’ve had kids you don’t wanna see me in a bikini so it’s quite the dilemma.”
Fans of the model praised her for this comment, not only because of her wit but also because of her unapologetic approach to the realities of motherhood and changing bodies. Her choice to not hide her flaws and admit to the things many models try to hide endears her to her fans who often struggle with similar things.
