Lilly Singh Will Host a New Late Night Show on NBC

Twitter

Lilly Singh will be stepping in to replace Carson Daly on her own late night show.

Currently, on any of the top four broadcasting networks, there is not a single woman hosting a late night show. America adores late night television, but it is definitely a man’s world. However, Lilly Singh just jumped in to break up the party.

That’s right, Lilly Singh will be joining Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and many others as she takes on her own show A Little Late with Lilly Singh. We couldn’t ask for a better and more wonderful female comedian to join this team of entertainers.

I can’t even believe I am writing this caption. This is so surreal. What is happening? I NEED TO SIT DOWN. Okay. *breathe* I’m THRILLED (and crying) to announce that ya girl is getting her own @nbc late night show! AHHHHHHH!! And not only did I get to announce this dream come true on @fallontonight but @sethmeyers came out and surprised me as well! I’m so grateful and overwhelmed to be joining this incredible family. I’m numb. I can’t even process. This has been SO long in the making and I’m so happy I can finally share this with you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! There’s so many people to thank and I will do so over the next few (or hundred) posts. Watch the segment live at 11:30pm est! And now… it’s time to work. It’s time to make magic. It’s time to hustle harder than ever before. Blessings 🙏🏽 #LillyOnFallon #TeamSuperAllDay

Singh’s show will be taking the 1:35 am the slot that used to host the Last Call with Carson Daly. It is sure to be comedic and poignant with no shortage of authenticity. We can’t wait for September when this YouTube icon will take up the mantle of talk-show host and blow us all away.
