An Inside Look at a Book Release Party

One of our young favorite authors is Victoria Scott. Not only is she a widely recognized YA author, she’s also one of the owners of Scribbler, the only subscription box for novelists created by bestselling authors. Victoria is one of the most humble people we have ever met and she let us in all of the details that go into one of her typical release parties, which we love. Have you ever wondered what a book release party looked like, or what goes into it? Look no further because we have you covered.

The party was held on Thursday, February 7 at 5:00 pm at Industrious Dallas, 1722 Routh Street, Dallas, TX 75201. The author had cupcakes, a charcuterie board, custom We Told Six Lies iced cookies, “filthy liar” cocktails, flavored popcorn, balloon arrangements, 80s music playing, and flower arrangements from Bella Flora. Now that’s our kind of book party!

Victoria’s latest book is We Told Six Lies, a YA thriller that has everyone talking. It’s one of the best young adult thrillers we’ve read in a long time. Make sure to pick up your copy today!
