‘Captain Marvel’ Brings in $455M Worldwide
Marvel’s Captain Marvel was released in theaters on International Women’s Day and it grossed a whopping $455 million at the box office its opening weekend.
Starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and several orange kitties with the central role of Goose, Captain Marvel is the first female-led superhero movie from Marvel. Just in its opening weekend, it delivered an estimated $153 million in its domestic opening and $455 million worldwide, making it Marvel’s seventh largest opening weekend of all time. Talk about girl power.
