The Color Pink Was Everywhere at the Oscars

The Oscars red carpet was a beautiful pink dream this year.

Red carpets are the perfect place to see upcoming trends and the Oscars red carpet showed us that pink is where it’s at. From Sarah Paulson to Jason Momoa, pink outfits were flooding the red carpet and we’re not mad about it. Paulson walked in with a hot pink Brandon Maxwell bubble dress with sexy cutouts and looked divine.

Kacey Musgraves, in Giambattista Valli, and Linda Cardellini, in Schiaparelli, took a different approach with their layered, pink, heavenly chiffon dresses.

Gemma Chan, in a smocked Valentino dress, and Maya Rudolph, in a floral Giambattista Valli, also took a voluminous approach to the pink trend and we are here for it.

There were also very sleek looks from Angela Basset, Marie Kondo, and KiKi Layne. Their dresses were eye-catching with their gorgeous details, from Marie’s sparkles to Angela’s oversized sleeve and KiKi’s structured cutouts.

The pink trend was not only seen in dresses but was also present in the form of men’s suits as Jason Momoa, in Fendi, demonstrated. Jason stepped out of the usual black suit standard for men by rocking a blush pink velvet suit with a matching scrunchie.

Others, including Helen Mirren and Laura Marano, chose to pair their pink with other colors.

Helen wore a Schiaparelli fuchsia pink tulle dress with orange undertones while Laura opted for a pink dress with a bright yellow bow. The color combinations were to die for.

Every single pink dress had us falling more and more in love with the color. We cannot get enough and with spring around the corner, we are ready to start rocking our own pink versions.
