The Cast of Black Panther Looked Royal at the Oscars

(ABC/Rick Rowell)

The entire cast truly reminded us all what Wakandian magic looks like.

After being nominated for seven Academy Awards including a historic “Best Picture” nomination, the Black Panther cast showed up and showed out.

Winston Duke appeared on the red carpet in a Thom Browne NY suit accompanied by David Yurman accessories.

Joining her cast-mates on the carpet, Lupita Nyong’o was a dream in an Oscar De La Renta feather gown.

Our Dora Milaje warrior, Danai Gurira, was stunning in a Brock Collection gown styled by Thomas Carter Phillips. She rocked jumbo style Fulani braids styled by Larry Sims.

Both Letitia Wright and Michael B. Jordan were styled by Ade Samuel. Letitia was a vision in Haute Couture. She wore a Dior gown and Cartier jewelry while Michael sported a Tom Ford suit.

Our Queen, Miss Angela Bassett, shut down the entire red carpet in a beautiful custom Reem Acra gown.

Black Panther took home three Academy Awards including “Best Costume Design” (Ruth E. Carter), “Best Original Score” (Ludwig Goransson) and making history with “Best Production Design” claimed by Hanna Beachler, who became the first black woman to win this category.

Can you say Wakanda Forever?!
