Jake Gyllenhaal made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about his MCU character, Mysterio, Instagram, and his costar, Tom Holland.
Jake Gyllenhaal was on Jimmy Fallon last night! He and Jimmy talked about his role as Mysterio in the new Spider-Man: Far From Home film that’s coming out this summer and Jake admitted he has a slight obsession for his costar, Tom Holland. “I’m super into him as Spider-Man,” the actor tells Jimmy about Tom. Jimmy also mentions that he has been trolling Tom and brings up the video Jake had posted on Valentine’s Day. Come on, you know the one.
Jimmy also brought up the picture Ryan Reynolds had posted for Christmas of him, Jake, and Hugh Jackman as their MCU characters photoshopped onto their faces. The caption on the original picture read, “These f***ing a**holes said it was a sweater party.”
The two also talked about Jake’s two-act play Sea Wall / A Life and how he stopped in the middle of his monologue to give a coughing audience member water.
