The Veronicas Just Teased New Music
The Veronicas just teased a new song for the first time in years. The Veronicas are an Australian pop group made up of twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso. The two formed the group in 2004 and have been making music ever since. Their first two albums, The Secret Life Of… and Hook Me Up were both certified platinum and hit the top of the charts in Australia when they were released in 2005 and 2007. After these first two albums, the group took a very long hiatus performing only a few small gigs, which they then broke 2012 with the single “Lolita” which again hit the top of Australian music charts. Their fans hadn’t gone anywhere.

In 2014 they left Warner Bros Music and signed with Sony Entertainment to make their self-titled third album The Veronicas. After this, they toured as the opening act for 5 Seconds of Summer and also did a short stint on The Voice Australia. But since their third album, we haven’t seen any new music from the group.

However, they broke their long music silence with a tweet on Valentine’s Day. There was no text to accompany it, just a minute longe music video trailer featuring one of the two singing her heart out while the ocean crashed around her. Quite a loud comeback for the two. There was no date, no song title, not even a comment, but this can only mean one thing, it’s time to get the fourth album. Keep your eyes on their Twitter for further announcements.
