Check out Why Cardi B Was the Best Dressed at the Grammys

Cardi B is seen on the red carpet at THE 61ST ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, broadcast live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 10 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/5:00-8:30 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network. Photo: Timothy Kuratek /CBS ©2019 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved

Cardi B’s outfits stole the show.

Cardi B is iconic for many reasons from her musical anthems like “Bodak Yellow” to her bold sense of style. She definitely showed us why she is such a fashion icon all throughout the Grammys night. The rapper began the night with a bang. For the red carpet, she wore a Mugler “pink duchess and satin velvet Venus sheath dress over a blush embellished bodysuit from the fall-winter 1995-1996 couture show at the Cirque d’Hiver”. The dress has a beautiful mermaid tail and resembled an oyster with pearls. She absolutely owned the look and was the shining pearl of the night.

For her show-stopping performance of her newest single Money’, she wore a 1995 Mugler “ black organza peacock crinoline with black velvet panther flocking over a rhinestone embellished jumpsuit”.  It was perfect for her performance and the crinoline moved flawlessly as she rolled her hips. Her vocals and choreography were breathtaking.

Finally, when she won her first Grammy for “Best Rap Album”, she appeared in Mugler “long white crêpe shawl fringe dress with fringe gloves from the spring-summer 1997 couture show”. During her speech, she became emotional as she thanked everyone from her fans to her daughter, Kulture. She most certainly had one of the best nights at the Grammys.
