Liam Payne Brings Fans Together For World Cancer Day
February 4th is World Cancer Day and several celebrities have pulled together to raise funds for cancer research. One of the events that came about for World Cancer Day was City Royale, a charity poker event in the UK. It was put on by partypokerLIVE and was hosted by Liam Payne to raise money for University College Hospitals London. UCHL is an organization working to revolutionize treatment for patients suffering from cancer and it is uplifting to see this kind of support go towards an organization so deserving of help. Payne said of the organization, “When I heard about the amazing work that UCLH were doing, it was just something I had to get involved in.”
We raised an incredible amount of money at our charity poker event for @uclh. The Just Giving page is still live if you want to donate money to help support young cancer patients. #WorldCancerDay https://t.co/PJ1nCQEio7 pic.twitter.com/ap8dOSP6bE

Liam Payne is on a roll. His hit song “For You” was just nominated for the ‘British Artis Video of the Year’ award and now he is stepping up to make the world a better place. He shared the Just Giving Page for City Royale in a Tweet late on the 4th and it shows that they have raised over $18,000. That is absolutely amazing.
So proud to hear ‘For You’ has been nominated for the @BRITs ‘British Artist Video of the Year’. But @RitaOra and I need your help! Vote using #BRITVIDLIAMRITA 🙌🏼 pic.twitter.com/3pNa2vIVqm
