Summer Walker Releases New EP on Apple Music
This Atlanta native has quite a few surprises in store for her fans.
Shortly after being announced as Apple Music’s newest Up Next artist, Summer Walker released a four song EP on Apple Music. The EP titled Clear was released exclusively on Apple Music on Friday, January 25th and has since been released on all streaming platforms.

With only one day since its release, Clear is already the number 1 R&B album on iTunes. The immediate success may have also come from the surprise Summer had for her fans. With the drop, came visuals for the EP and four live performance videos shot in Summer’s hometown, Atlanta, Georgia.
These performances take place in what appears to be a tree house setting with each scene being extremely intimate and calm, giving a feeling of exclusivity that is sure to put you in your feelings. Summer can be seen in various scenes performing different tracks with just her band or alone accompanied by her guitar. This EP has a completely different sound than her last project Last Day of Summer. This time around you get more of a blues feel as Summer sings her warnings and praises to future lovers and loved ones. From the jazzy upbeat “Grave” to slow and somber “Settling”, Summer is definitely taking you on a rollercoaster of emotions.
