This single is a little different from her others. The “Be The One” singer has created a single for the movie Alita: Battle Angel starring Rosa Salazar. Lipa has teased this single for the past few weeks, leaving her fans anticipating greatness. The track titled “Swan Song” comes with the premiere of a music video that features select scenes from the movie.

Alita: Battle Angel, directed by Robert Rodriguez, is based on Yukito Kishiro’s manga comic “Gunnm” or “Battle Angel Alita”. The movie, set to be released in the U.S on February 14th, is a mild twist on a traditional coming of age story taken place in a post-apocalyptic world. Since announcing the release of “Swan Song”, we’ve gotten small glimpses of what may take place in this video by way of Dua Lipa’s instagram page.
