Calisthenics is a workout format of gymnast movement combined with grass motor movement. It’s essentially a body weight workout since the only equipment required are bars. Compared to weightlifting, Calisthenics won’t help you develop muscle mass quickly but rather improve your posture, core, and motor skills over time. It emulates your muscles in real-life situations as it focuses on full-body movements. It can work out the lower body, upper body, and core. Some exercises include: L-sit, one arm pull up, handstand push ups, and L-dips. The only disadvantage about Calisthenics is as you grow stronger, your weight resistance lowers.
