Watch the ‘Queer Eye’ Fab Five Kill It on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Netflix

The Fab Five have kicked off the newest season of Lip Sync Battle in the best way.

We all love Lip Sync Battle. It gave us so many gems from Tom Holland’s rendition of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” to Alicia Silverstone’s Clueless flashback with her performance of “Fancy”. When the show’s season 5 trailer aired, we were immediately excited as it gave us sneak peeks of performances from Prince Royce, Serena Williams, and even Mariah Carey herself. Yesterday, the season was kicked off with performances by the cast of Netflix’s Queer Eye and it was better than we could have expected.

At the beginning of the episode, the Fab Five gave us the most spectacular, jaw-dropping performance of Beyoncé’s “Grown Woman” in the style of the renowned singer’s history-making Coachella performance, with a marching band and everything. They even wore the iconic yellow crop top hoodie, distressed shorts, and sparkling, white fringe boots.

Afterward, the cast was separated into two teams with Antoni, Bobby, and Tan on one and Karamo and Jonathan on the other. Antoni, Bobby, and Tan channeled their inner Britney Spears with their renditions of “Work B*tch”. Antoni wore the iconic “Toxic” music video outfit, Bobby wore the “Oops…I Did It Again” red latex outfit, and Tan wore Britney’s circus ringmaster tour look.

Meanwhile, Karamo and Jonathan joined forces to channel Lady Gaga and Beyoncé with their performance of “Telephone”. Jonathan wore a replica of the soda can curler look from the original music video while Karamo wore the Beyoncé blue military style jacket and jean shorts look.

The Fab Five did an amazing job and we cannot wait to see what other celebrities perform in future episodes. Lip Sync Battle airs every Thursday at 9/8 c.
