Summer Walker Announced as Apple Music’s Newest Up Next Artist

In such a short period of time, Summer Walker has really risen to the top!

Summer has been named Apple Music’s newest Up Next artist and her fans couldn’t be more thrilled.

Apple Music uses the Up Next platform to highlight upcoming artists and their progress into the music industry. Former UpNext artists include some of your faves, such as Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.

However, Summer is not new to showcasing her talent. Many may remember her from the good ole’ Vine days as Tsunami Summer. It was on the app that Summer posted many cover videos and original songs as well exposing us all to the star she was destined to be.

Since being signed to LVRN/Interscope Records, the songstress has been climbing the charts at a rapid pace as her debut EP Last Day of Summer, released October 12, 2018, currently sits at Number 22 on Billboard’s Top 25 R&B Albums.

The “Girls Need Love” singer also just wrapped up a tour with former Up Next artist 6lack and is currently performing on her own across the country.
