The Newest Marvel Comic Will Be Written by the McElroy Family
Marvel Comics has announced that their newest comic arc, War of the Realms: Journey Into Mystery, will be spearheaded by the beloved family of comedians and writers, the McElroys. If you are into the world that is podcasting, you may have heard of the McElroys. The family hosts a wide variety of programs on the Maximum Fun network, such as My Brother, My Brother, and Me, The Adventure Zone, Sawbones, Schmanners, and Wonderful.

The comic will be written by the brothers, Justin, Travis, Griffin, and their father, Clint. This will not be their first journey in the comic realm, as the four have released a graphic novel series last year retelling the epic tales of their podcast, The Adventure Zone. War of the Realms: Journey Into Mystery will be a five-part series. The story will take place “in a world where Earth is at war, besieged by an army of Frost Giants, Trolls and Fire Goblins — and the mighty Thor is nowhere to be found”.

The McElroys are best known for their witty and nonsensical brand of comedy, as well as phenomenal creativity, and willingness to try anything. Their storytelling is second to none. The whole family has toured the world with live performances. Justin and his wife, Sydney, wrote a New York Times Best-Selling book, The Sawbones Book. The youngest brother, Griffin, was even named one of Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 Media Luminaries in 2017. This family has a lot to offer and we can’t wait to see what they bring us next.
