You’ve Got to Watch the New ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Trailer
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is back in 2019.
The hilarious TV series had given us a scare earlier this year when it was canceled by Fox. Thankfully, NBC rescued the day and picked up the show. Ever since, we have been anxiously awaiting season six. We finally got a trailer and we can say that it was well worth the wait. The trailer was a complete rendition of ‘Die Hard’, packed with action and suspense as Detective Jake Peralta, played by Andy Samberg, takes on the role of character John McClane.
The ‘Die Hard’ scene in the trailer ends with Detective Peralta suggesting it as the new recruitment video while showing everyone his diorama and being rejected. While we were disappointed to see that the scene was only a figment of Jake Peralta, we are still happy it happened. We still cannot believe we finally get to see Jake in such an iconic scene! It was, as Jake says, “NOICE”!

The TV series has tackled various important issues in a way that is comical without deviating from the main point. It has dealt with issues such as racial profiling and homophobia and we are living for it. We hope that NBC will continue that important aspect of the show.
We are definitely looking forward to what the detective squad will tackle next. The new season premieres January 10th, 2019 at 9/8 c. Can we get a “NINE-NIIIIINEE”?!
