Find out Who Was Named Model of the Year

She has conquered runways and editorials and, now, was named ‘Model of the Year’ at the British Fashion Awards.

Kaia Gerber has become one of the most influential models of the year. She officially launched her modeling career in 2016 when she scored a fashion campaign with Chrome Hearts. Since then, she has gone to become a prominent model in Vogue, Marc Jacobs campaigns, Yves Saint Laurent runways, and so much more.

Last night, she added to her list of accomplishments as she was named ‘Model of the Year’ by the British Fashion Council. In her speech, she thanked her family for their support and stated that she was humbled by the amazing female models she had as her peers. At the end of her speech, she made a joke that she “didn’t win very many things growing up” so that award was especially dedicated to her parents who “always showed up anyways”.

She attended the awards in a black and pale silver dress with black trousers by Alexander McQueen paired with simple black strap stilettos. She completed the look with a small black clutch and cluster diamond stud earrings. She looked absolutely stunning and chic but, then again, doesn’t she always?
