Check Out All of the Nominations for the 61st Grammys
The Grammy Awards will air on February 10, 2019.
All 84 categories have been posted on the Grammy’s website.
Kendrick Lamar and Drake top the list with more nominations than any of the other artists. Kendrick has been nominated for album of the year, record of the year, song of the year and 5 more nominations for his success with the Black Panther album.
Drake follows closely behind with seven nominations. Travis Scott’s Astroworld is nominated for rap album of the year, and Mac Miller receives a posthumous nomination for best album with Swimming.
The category for best new artist includes eight of 2018’s top emerging artists: Chloe x Halle, Luke Combs, Greta Van Fleet, H.E.R., Dua Lipa, Margo Prince, Bebe Rexha, and Jorja Smith. The Academy has decided that all of these artists are fit for recognition because they have made an impact on the musical landscape this year. The Academy has also been on top of recognizing all of our top female artists who have dominated some of the major categories. 2018 has been quite the year for music!
