Ariana Grande Named ‘Woman of the Year’
It’s been an eventful year for beloved pop-queen Ariana Grande.
It seems her year is ending on a positive note, however. She has just been announced as Billboard’s “Woman of the Year” and we could not be happier!
We all know Ariana certainly deserved it after the crazy rollercoaster that was 2018. Ariana went through break-ups, the passing of her dearest friend, Mac Miller, and the one-year commemoration of the Manchester concert, yet she somehow managed to conquer it all. Even after all of her pain, she kept a positive attitude. In her latest single, “Thank U, Next,” she thanks everyone that has been in her life for teaching her life lessons, particularly that of self-love and care.
All of her fans were devastated when she was not named “Woman of the Year” last year, during which she coped with the tragic Manchester bombing while still showing so much support for the victims and their families. This year, we are all ecstatic that she is finally getting the recognition she deserves.
