Kevin Hart + ‘Black-ish’ Executive Producer Team Up for Comedy Series
The Night School actor has proven yet again that he stays booked and busy.
Variety announced that Kevin Hart, and Black-ish executive producer, Courtney Lilly, will be producing an upcoming comedy on ABC network. The upcoming comedy is called, Don’t Call it a Comeback. The show is about a one hit wonder, 40-year old divorced dad, who is trying to get his swagger back. The main character was part of a 90’s hip-hop group called PM Dawn-type. He hopes to fix relationships with his kids, relationships, and life to prove that even though he was a one-hit wonder in the 90s, that does not define him.
Kevin is set to executive produce the series through his company HartBeat Productions with John Cheng, the current President of Film at HartBeat Productions. The Central Intelligence actor posted the announcement on his Instagram and expressed his excitement.
