Listen to Troye Sivan Cover Queen’s ‘Somebody To Love’
Singer, songwriter Troye Sivan just released a surprise cover of Queen’s “Somebody to Love” and it’s amazing.
Sivan surprised his fans on social media today when he dropped a cover of the very popular song “Somebody to Love” by Queen. Sivan had worked on the cover of the song for the upcoming biopic soundtrack for Bohemian Rhapsody. The film is about the life of the lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, and about how Queen came to be.

While vastly different from Queen’s version of the song, Sivan takes the lyrics of the song and translates them into a much more dark and desperate meaning with the music. Queen recorded this song for a stadium, where Sivan does it for a more calm and lonely crowd. Sivan’s talent with Queen’s fantastic lyrics makes for a very beautiful rendition of the tune.
