Lupita Nyong’o may have just won Halloween by dressing as the very stylish Dionne from Clueless.
If you are a big fan of the film Clueless, then you probably were taken down memory lane when you saw Lupita Nyong’o’s Halloween costume. Clueless came out in 1995, and 23 years later it is still one of the best works in the Hollywood film industry.
The Black Panther actress paid homage to one of the most iconic and fashionable 90’s characters in a movie, Dionne Davenport who was played by Stacey Dash. Lupita attended Heidi Klum’s star-studded 19th annual Halloween bash in New York and posted multiple pictures of her living her best life as Dionne Davenport on Instagram.
Lupita used the hilarious line from when Dionne was yelling at boyfriend, Murray, at the beginning of the movie.
The actress chose Dionne’s classic schoolgirl look with the red cardigan and she even rocked Dionne’s signature nose ring.
The Queen of Katwe actress proved that she meant business this Halloween season and added green contacts to finalize the look. Talk about dedication.
