BTS’ RM Drops Playlist ‘Mono’
RM decided to break the internet on Saturday by announcing that he will be dropping his second solo album on October 23rd.
The rapper finally dropped his long-awaited second solo album, Mono.
The album has seven tracks: “Tokyo,””Seoul,” “Moonchild,” “Badbye,””Uhgood,” “Everything Goes,” and “Forever Rain.” RM also dropped a music video for the song “Forever Rain.” The video was aesthetically pleasing and well done. We were already emotional because of the heart-shattering lyrics where the rapper showed his authentic vulnerability.
It holds so many layers of emotions and we have to command RM for carrying out the lyrics and emotions beautifully.
The lyrics are full of depth, but the video is minimal because of the black and white graphics. This is similar to the overall theme of the album; calm, yet full of layers and emotion.

The album is not only a masterpiece, but it is already breaking records. Ironically, Mono is even beating RM’s boy band, BTS, on the charts and topping the album charts in 86 countries on iTunes, making it the Korean Album with the most numbers ones.
Keep in mind, the “Do You” rapper provided links for excited fans to get the album for free.

Through the years we have watched RM grow as an artist. His main goal from the beginning was to prove himself. He has not only done that with BTS, but with his own solo work as well.
You did well, Namjoon.
