Watch the Travis Scott + Drake ‘Sicko Mode’ Video
The long-awaited music video for “Sicko Mode” is finally here.
The “Butterfly Effect” rapper has dropped the highly acclaimed single, “Sicko Mode,” from Astroworld alongside Drake.
The music video took place in and paid homage to Houston, Travis Scott’s hometown. The video was directed by Travis Scott and David Meyers.
David Meyers also directed “Stop Trying to be God,” which is another single from Astroworld. “Stop Trying to be God” featured James Blake and Kylie Jenner as cameos in the music video.
Travis and Drake may have changed the game because the “Sicko Mode” video is visually and aesthetically pleasing. The video goes from scene to scene with multiple colors and outfit changes from Drake and Travis. The scenes show the “Company” rappers traveling through alternate universes.
The visuals are just mind-blowing. The video displays Travis Scott’s theme park shown on as the cover art for Astroworld. There are also animated graffiti images. The video also paid homage to Houston Hip-Hop Legend, DJ Screw.
We are loving the music video and it is beyond what we anticipated from the talented rappers.
