Watch President Obama Shut Down Excuses for Not Voting
The former President does not have time for excuses on why you didn’t partake in voting.
With the election approaching in November, we cannot stress enough how powerful voting is.
ATTN posted a video on their Instagram and YouTube of President Obama dismissing the excuses for not voting.
The video opens up with Excuse #1: ‘I don’t care about Politics.” To which Obama hilariously responds, ‘Look I don’t care about Pokémon, but that does not mean that it won’t keep coming back.’ Obama stressed that the notion of not caring about politics is what people in power are betting on.
‘Here’s your chance to vote for people who know what the internet is,’ Obama joked.
Mid-term elections are just as powerful as Presidential elections. Obama recommended voting early for those who have busy lives, which he promises ‘Is like going to a private Beyoncé and Jay-Z concert, just without Jay-Z and Beyoncé.’
