The show follows the Crain family, as they reflect back on the taunting memories of their famously haunted childhood home. The story is told in flashbacks, relaying how the horrors of Hill House they experienced as children affected their adult lives.
The Haunting of Hill House is a television adaption of a 1959 horror novel of the same name, written by Shirley Jackson.
