Adam Lambert + Ledisi Added to List of Performers for Wicked’s 15th Anniversary Special

Both Adam Lambert and Ledisi will join multiple performers in a special live NBC television event, entitled “A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway,” to celebrate the classic Broadway longtime production run.

Performers previously announced to perform for “A Very Wicked Halloween” include former Wicked co-stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, Ariana Grande, the acapella-group Pentatonix, and the current Broadway company of Wicked.

Lambert shared the good news on Instagram.

Based on Gregory Macguire’s novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, the Broadway show Wicked tells the story about the budding friendship between Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch before and during the events of The Wizard of Oz. Wicked has been a successful Broadway show since its opening on October 30, 2003, and later spawned multiple touring and international productions.

“A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway” is scheduled to air on Monday, Oct. 29 at 10 P.M. Eastern Time on NBC.
