Cher Horowitz was originally played by Alicia Silverstone in the 1995 film.

Joining Cameron in the cast of Clueless the Musical are Ephie Aardema as Tai, Lori Alan as Miss Geist/Ms. Stoeger, Sara Andreas as Heather, Gilbert L. Bailey II as Murray, Dave Thomas Brown as Josh, Will Connolly as Travis, Danielle Marie Gonzalez as Lucy, Tessa Grady as Amber, Chris Hoch as Mel/Mr. Hall/DMV Instructor, L’ogan J’ones as Max, Darius Jordan Lee as Sean, Justin Mortelliti as Christian, and Zurin Villanueva as Dionne.

Cameron is a perfect fit for the role because of her experience as a performer in theatre, television, and films. She has previously participated in musical productions such as NBC’s Hairspray Live! as Velma von Tussle and the Hollywood Bowl production of Mamma Mia as Sophie.

Cameron showed off her vocals when she played Maleficent’s daughter Mal in the Disney Channel Original Movies film Descendants and Descendants 2, with a third film to be released soon.

Previews for the production will commence on November 20, 2018, before the show officially opens on December 11th. The show will then run for a limited time and conclude early next year on January 12, 2019.
