Jaden Smith Drops New Single ‘Goku’

Jaden Smith dropped a new single and it is giving us major Dragon Ball Z feels.

Jaden Smith is not just working on his environment-friendly JUST water company, but he is also releasing new music. Jaden has been teasing on his Twitter and Instagram that he is cooking something up. Just last week, the “Icon” rapper dropped the single, “BACK ON MY SH*T”, which was brilliant.

BACK ON MY SH*T premiered on Beats 1. On an interview with Zane Lowe, Jaden revealed that the track was inspired by the movie, Skate Kitchen.

‘It’s about a female crew of skaters that are trying to find themselves, but they realize that the crew is the only thing that really helps them go through the city and feel like they are a part of something,’ the rapper said on the show. His upcoming project titled, The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story, is dropping on November 17th on the anniversary of Syre.

The new track “Goku” can be connected to the anime series. If you aren’t familiar with anime, Goku, is a male Saiyan and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series, which the song is inspired by. The song has an EDM, mixed with rap, sound to it. The beat goes is smooth and just makes you want to dance.

We are happy to see Jaden exploring and showing his personality through his artistry and cannot wait for the new album coming out on November 17th.
