Many fans are saying that X-Men: Dark Phoenix looks like the most comic book version of X-Men that has ever been in live action while others are not one hundred percent convinced that the movie will live up to their expectations.

It is about time that Jean Grey got her own movie in the X-Men universe. Sophie Turner is playing the beloved Jean Grey in the new movie. The Game of Thrones actress is fiercer than ever in the new trailer.

The X-Men: Dark Phoenix trailer tells the story of how Jean Grey caused a car accident when she was a child hurting the people she loves. She seeks help from Magneto (Michael Fassbender) after she was betrayed by professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) because she is convinced that something is wrong with her. Jean is essentially spiraling out of control, and it looks like she is her own worst enemy.

“She’s all rage, pain, and it’s all coming out at once,” you can hear Professor X say in the trailer.

The X-Men also have to unite to save Jean Grey and the planet from aliens.

The casting for the movie is superb. Jennifer Lawrence returns as Mystique, and Jessica Chastain plays the villain, Smith. Nicholas Hoult is also returning as The Beast.
