Let’s Talk About the Season Premiere of NBC’s ‘This is Us’
Season 3 of NBC’s This is Us premiered Tuesday night, and it did not disappoint.So here’s the rundown of what happened during the premiere (spoilers ahead).
Zoe and Kevin are officially hooking up. But after Beth intervened, despite her swearing on Oprah that she wouldn’t, Zoe shrugged off Kevin’s touch during dinner. Beth labeled her as a “heartbreaker,” so we don’t really know what the future holds for these two.

Jack teased his tragic backstory with his late brother Nicky. After their subpar first date, Jack opens up to Rebecca about his recent financial struggles and his post-trauma from the war in Vietnam.

Rebecca left her jacket in Jack’s car after explaining to him that she wasn’t the type of girl to leave something behind on a date as an excuse to see him again. Apparently, she is.
Toby tossed his anti-depressants down the toilet to increase his and Kate’s chances to become pregnant. Now that’s bound for disaster.

Lastly, we encountered “her” again. In a closing scene, we saw that Toby wasn’t wearing his wedding ring in the future. Randall calls Toby, who was alone in a large bed, and asks him if he’s going to come down and see “her.” Is this Kate? Is she dead? Are they split up? Guess we’ll have to wait to find out.
