Halle Berry Will Produce ‘Boomerang’ TV Series with Lena Waithe
Halle Berry is creating a TV series based on the iconic ‘Boomerang’ movie on BET.
Most of us fell in love with Halle Berry when she played, Angela Lewis in the iconic 1992 romantic comedy along with Eddie Murphy. Halle’s character started out as a sweet and almost innocent character who had a playful crush on a womanizer by the name of Marcus Graham (Eddie Murphy). However, Marcus was pursuing Jacqueline Broyer (Robin Givens). Long story short, Marcus got into a relationship with Angela to spite Jacqueline. Angela decided that no more will she be the girl that falls hard for a man, and she will focus on her career. In the end, Marcus decided to change his ways and man up for Angela.
At that time, women saw themselves in Angela and Halle became the star of the acclaimed movie.
Halle is now adapting the 1992 movie into a TV series with the very talented Lena Waithe on BET.
Halle shared the announcement on her Instagram.

Halle continues to share her excitement by stating that she cannot wait for the fans of the movie to see what is to come.
