New Trailer for ‘Beautiful Boy’ Released

A second trailer has been released for the upcoming film, Beautiful Boy, and this one brought on more tears than the first.

The film explores the heartfelt bond between father and son, and the struggles their relationship battles in the face of drug addiction, relapse, and recovery. The story is adapted from bestselling memoirs by father and son, Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Addiction by David Sheff, and Tweak: Growing Up On Methamphetamines by Nic Sheff.

A brief trailer was released earlier this summer, and now a second one is allowing viewers a closer look into the touching story.

The film will star Steve Carrell, Timothee Chalamet, Maura Tierney, and Amy Ryan (yes, a Michael Scott and Holly Flax reunion!). Check out the first trailer, and mark your calendar for the film’s release into theaters on October 12th.
