‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ Returns on October 13th

Netflix

It’s official. The highly anticipated season 3 of the hit Netflix show, Marvel’s Daredevil, will premiere on October 13.

The Devil in Hell’s Kitchen is making his way back to our screens. The Daredevil Instagram account released a new teaser and titled it “Deuteronomy 30:15.”

In the trailer, Murdock expresses that “you can suffocate evil. Starve it. Lock it behind bars. But it will find a way to come back, even stronger. There’s only one true way to end evil. To finish it for good. Let the devil out.”

Interestingly enough, the way the show is being advertised for the upcoming season is with bible verses.

Another teaser titled “Job 12:22”, Murdock says something similar to “Deuteronomy 30:15.”

“I once believed that Justice could be found in the court of law…and the light of day. But I was filling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. And the truth is…I’d rather die as the devil than life as Matt Murdock.”

Matt Murdock, who is played by Charlie Cox, is going against an old enemy, Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio. The last time we saw Fisk was in season 1 where he played a major villain on the show. At the end of season 1, Fisk was sent to jail and we only saw a glimpse of him in season 2. It looks like things are about to get intense because according to Murdock, “evil will find a way to come back even stronger.”

The overall themes that we are getting for season 3 might be best described as rebirth, rebelliousness, and revenge. Murdock might be hinting at embracing the darkness. Being a good guy is overrated. Evil is winning. To add to the mystery, the Daredevil outfit this season is mostly black as opposed to the usual red costume.

Hold on to your seats as we wait to see Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix October 13th.
