Emilia Clarke Shows Off Her New Dragon Tattoo

In honor of the ending of Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke dons a new tattoo to celebrate her character.

Emilia Clarke a.k.a Mother of Dragons took to Instagram to announce her new tattoo. As the fantasy drama television show is wrapping up, Clarke wanted to celebrate her run on the show with a new meaningful tattoo.

Clarke has played the character Daenerys Targaryen since the show premiered in 2011.

Game of Thrones recently took home three Emmy awards, the biggest being Outstanding Drama Series. The show also won for Outstanding Special Visual Effects, while actor Peter Dinklage received Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

The actress isn’t the first one to pay homage to the show. Actress Maisie Williams, who plays Arya, also got a tattoo that reads “No one.” While Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, inked the famous House Stark’s direwolf symbol with the quote from the show,” The pack survives.”

The final season of Game of Thrones premieres in 2019.
