Madeline Stuart Is the First Model with Down Syndrone to Walk NYFW

Madeline Stuart, a 21-year-old Australian model with Down syndrome, has just completed her sixth season of New York Fashion Week.

Stuart’s modeling career began only three years ago, but she has already strutted the catwalk of over 60 runway shows. Among those, she is the first model to ever appear in New York Fashion Week with Down syndrome.

This season, the Australian model walked for designers such as House of Byfield, Lulu et Gigi, Colleen Morris, and more. Her modeling has inspired those who have ever felt like they couldn’t achieve their goals because of their differences, advocating for diversity and inclusiveness in the fashion industry.
