Ariana Grande Posts Emotional Note to Mac Miller

Instagram

Ariana Grande is breaking her silence following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.  The soulful songstress took to Instagram where she posted a video of Mac Miller telling a story while Ari playfully filmed him for her own keeping. Grande, much like the rest of the world, expressed her disbelief at losing the young rapper so soon.  In her emotional caption, Ariana vulnerably apologized to Miller for not being able to, “Fix or take the pain away. I really wanted to.”

Comments have been disabled on the singer’s Instagram following severe backlash from angered Miller fans. Fans of the “Best Day Ever” singer were quick to point fingers at Ariana for flaunting her engagement to SNL comedian Pete Davidson just one month after announcing her split from Mac. Miller’s close friend, Shane Powers, took to Twitter to silence anyone placing blame on Ariana.  Powers, later on, shut down more disgruntled fans on his podcast, “The Shane Show,” where he defended Ariana yet again saying, “There was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober.”

Grande clapped back at Miller fans earlier this year following Miller’s DUI arrest.  The singer responded to a comment blaming Ariana for the rappers enhanced partying, to which Ariana responded sternly saying, “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming / blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s— together is a very major problem.”

The “Sweetener” singer is set to go on tour in early 2019 and has yet to announce a wedding date to her fiance, Pete.  For now, Ariana has cancelled all appearances and is processing the tragic loss with her family and loved ones.
