Tori Kelly Releases New Album ‘Hiding Place’

Tori Kelly has released her first gospel-inspired album, and it’s truly a work of art. Kelly partnered with 48-year-old gospel singer Kirk Franklin, who also produced the album. The collection also includes collaborations with Lecrae, Jonathan McReynolds, and The Hamiltones.

In a recent interview, the songwriter says, “This gospel project and the songs I’ve had in the past … it’s all me. Even though it’s different genres, it all feels like me.” She continues, “With gospel music, you can’t sing without all your heart being in it. This album was an opportunity to do what I felt and never hold back. I could just be free and let the song take me over.”

The Grammy-nominated artist expresses nothing but love and affection towards her latest work of art. In her recent Instagram post she shares, “My hope is that these songs might inspire, encourage, & shine light in dark places,  as that’s what they’ve done for me.”

We are so proud and in awe of Kelly for chasing her dreams and making music that comes straight from her heart.

Tickets are on sale for the Hiding Place tour, which kicks off October 18th in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout the tour, Kelly will be performing at several historical houses of worship, like New York City’s Riverside Church and the Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles.
