HBO’s New Comedy Series ‘Camping’ Premieres In October

HBO’s new comedy-drama Camping follows an old group of friends as they celebrate a landmark birthday at Brown Bear Lake campsite.

The show stars Jennifer Garner, David Tennant, Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto, Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Brett Gelman, and Bridgett Everett. Garner plays a controlling mom, who tries to direct the weekend with a tight schedule. Tennant plays Garner’s husband, a loving father who seems to have a growing discontent for his life.

Garner’s character organized the whole weekend for her husbands birthday. However, with a cast of crazy friends and family involved, relationships are sure to be tested, and woman on woman rivalries are sure to cause some drama.

From executive producers Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner of Girls, Camping, a new comedy series on HBO. Camping stars Jennifer Garner and David Tennant as Kathryn and Walt, a not-so-happily married couple. A meticulously planned outdoor trip to celebrate Walt’s 45th birthday is derailed by uninvited guests and forces of nature, turning the weekend into a test of marriage and friendships.

The series is based on a U.K version of the same name. Produced and written by Lena Dunham, John Riggi, and Jenni Konner, it’s sure to be a must watch for fall tv.

The show will be available on HBO GO, HBO NOW, and HBO On Demand. The pilot is set to premiere on October 14th.
