Star-Studded Night at Rihanna’s 2018 Diamond Ball
Rihanna’s 2018 Diamond Ball featured big stars Issa Rae, Childish Gambino, Tiffany Haddish, and more. The Diamond Ball took place on Thursday, September 13th.
The Diamond Ball event happens annually to raise funds for the Clara Lionel Foundation, a foundation founded by RiRi herself. Issa Rae hosted the grand event, bringing her never-failing humor and relatability. Childish Gambino performed his latest hits in support of the event.

Rihanna wants the Clara Lionel Foundation to be open to any and all that need it. In the video below, she says:
“In the past, I have wanted to support so many causes…and I don’t think it’s fair to turn down someone who needs help because it doesn’t fit into the bracket of your mold, and I don’t think charities should be molded like that…for me personally…Everybody needs help.”
On Rihanna’s charity, also seen in the video below, Issa Rae comments:
“I’m excited to be hosting this…she’s just such an example in terms of leading the way…you know, I have all these fans and what can I do to make an impact…I love what she’s doing, and I love her.”
