Back for a much anticipated 15th season, Grey’s Anatomy is still delivering all the hospital drama and messing with their fans emotions in the process. The trailer for the new season answered some questions from last season, introduced new characters, and gave us a sneak peek at the new drama unfolding.

In honor of the 15th season, ABC is teaming up with POPSUGAR to host a weekend-long exhibition in LA to celebrate the landmark season.

With this new season, comes new faces. Two new surgeons will be stepping into the stellar cast. O.C alum Chris Carmack will be stepping into to be the new orthopedic surgeon on the show.  He tweeted about his role back in July and seemed to be very excited to join the team.

However, the most exciting role for fans is Alex Landi who will play a Dr. Nico Kim, the first gay male surgeon in the show. While Grey’s Anatomy is no stranger to LGBTQA representation, with characters like bisexual Callie Torres and lesbian Arizona Robbins, fans are excited to see more inclusion in the new season, as well as more people of color being represented on the drama.

While no details of the character have been released, we can only guess what Dr. Kim’s specialty on the show will be. With the exit of Jessica Capshaw last season, we hope to see him stepping in as the new pediatric surgeon.

You can catch Grey’s Anatomy September 27th on ABC. Catch up on the latest seasons on Netflix.
