Sophia Bush is returning to TV with a thriller drama called “Surveillance.”

The “One Tree Hill” actress excitedly announced the news on her Instagram. This return to TV is after Sophia Bush decided to leave NBC’s “Chicago PD” to pursue other goals. “Surveillance” is a thriller drama that the actress will star in as a series regular. On board is David C. White who wrote “The Passage,” and “Sons of Liberty” director Patricia Riggen.

The “Incredibles 2 actress posted a screenshot of the announcement on her Instagram. In the caption, Sophia explains how she is so ecstatic that she can finally share the news with us.

@deadline called the pilot order a “blockbuster commitment.” Yeah. That’s exactly the kind of BDE I’d like to sprinkle onto the intentions I’m setting for #Surveillance” The actress explains. “THIS is what I’ve been developing this year, Y’all. The team at 20th, at 6th & Idaho, and I have been pouring our hearts into this one. I cannot wait to start shooting for @cbstv this fall, and I CANNOT wait for you to meet “her.” Can’t tell you her name yet. Gotta keep you in just a little suspense…” Sophia teased.

The activist closes the announcement by stating, “never give up on your dreams, my dears. Work HARD. Harder than anyone can see. And then double down on that. You can do it. We can do it.”

We are so excited to have Sophia back and grace our screens.
