Colton Underwood Is Your New Bachelor

Bachelor nation was introduced to Colton Underwood during season 14 of ABC’s The Bachelorette, as he attempted to win the heart of bachelorette Becca Kufrin.

Unfortunately, the former NFL player landed fourth place, and was sent home heartbroken after a long journey of love. In a second attempt to find his person, Underwood joined the cast of the franchise spin-off, Bachelor in Paradise.

Thank you for teaching me even more about myself, and most importantly, for your friendship that I know will continue far beyond Paradise. Don’t settle for anything less than the world, because that’s what you deserve. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and catch up on life some day, preferably over a hot dog dinner.

Underwood raised hopes of fans when he entered an on-screen relationship with former season 22 Bachelor contestant, Tia Booth. However, those hopes quickly  came crashing down in Bachelor Nation as the romance once again came to an unexpected end, leading the two to make an exit from the show.

Don’t worry—the journey to find a wife is not over for the 26-year-old. Good Morning America broke the news on September 4th that ABC has decided to give Underwood a third chance at love, titling him the new Bachelor for the show’s 23rd season.

The premiere of the new season has yet to be announced, but best of luck toward the new star and his efforts in finding the one for him.
