The reason for this donation was that last week, photos of Geoffrey Owens working at a Trader Joe’s had gone viral. Due to this event, the actor had received many nasty comments and was job-shamed.

She also said during the broadcast, ”Tell him that I’m going to have my team contact him because I hope he doesn’t take it the wrong way. I just want to help him in any way I can.” Nicki is very understanding of how her offer can be seen in a bad light, however, she asserts that she just wants to help.
Ever since this situation came to surface, many other celebrities reached out to help Owens.
