Blaming Ariana Grande For the Death of Mac Miller is Vile
Today is a sad day in music with the passing of talented Rapper, Mac Miller.
When the news broke that Mac Miller was found dead in his house in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. It is suspected that the rapper died from an alleged drug overdose. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Miller recently dropped his fifth studio album “Swimming,” and had plans to go on tour in the Fall.
Miller dated pop megastar Ariana Grande for about two years and the couple split earlier this year. The “I’ll Be There” rapper was very open about his struggles with addiction in the past. After years of sobriety, Mac started drinking again and fans accused Ariana Grande of not being supportive after the break-up.
Ariana rightfully defended herself and clapped back “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course).”
Today, after the news broke multiple people decided to go on Ariana’s Instagram and put the blame for her for the death of the rapper. It is a vile and disgusting thing to put on a person.
While Mac’s death is very unfortunate, Ariana was right and had every right to get herself out of a bad situation. It cannot be stressed enough that it is not a woman’s obligation to fix a man. Mac was having trouble with drugs way before he got with the “God is a Woman” singer. You can only help and support someone as much as they allow you.
