Ryan McCartan to Make His Broadway Debut on ‘Wicked’
The former Disney Channel star of Liv and Maddie will make his Broadway debut as the charming and suave Fiyero in Broadway’s Wicked.
Up until the news came out, McCartan had teased and hinted his fans at his involvement in a new project. At the time, he had only mentioned that he’ll make his Broadway debut in a couple of weeks.
Our dreams aren’t the treasure, they’re the treasure map. That’s why we follow them. Two weeks from today I’ll make my broadway debut, realizing a dream that’s almost as old as I am. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is out of reach. Go where you want to go, do what you want to do, and never apologize for yourself or your ambitions. Remember that ultimately, the universe and all of its good SO outweighs what is bad. Lean in. Make it happen. Much love to you all xx
Upon the time the news was released, McCartan retweeted a news article of the news of his Broadway debut with a line sung by Fiyero from the number Dancing Through Life from Wicked: “It’s just life, so keep dancing through”.
