The CW ‘Black Lightning’ Releases New Poster, Season 2 Drops Oct 9th

The CW is known for its great comic to onscreen adaptations like The Flash and Green Arrow.

Black Lightning is no exception to this fact. The show’s fans are happy to see Black Lightning’s season 2 poster.

The poster gives off a the same retro vibe as when the comic ran in the 70s. This next season was said to have more of Anissa, Jennifer and their powers by Cress Williams (Black Lightning).

In April of this year, he told Fandom Wire, “It’s not going to be the same as season one, where Anissa just embraced [her powers] and was ready to fight crime. I think it’s going to be a little bit more of a struggle, and from what I’m told we’re just going to go harder.”

In a different interview with We Got This Covered in May at the Motor City Comic Con, Williams said, ” I think we’re going to get into more about Jennifer’s character and watching her come into her own and her powers, which I think is going to be a little more difficult.” 

China Ann Mcclain posted on her InstaStory a week ago of herself with her sister on the set of Black Lighting.
