Michael B. Jordan Surprises Kids

Instagram

Michael B. Jordan is always surprising his fans in some way, and we are here for it.

Last Week, Michael surprised a senior on the set of “Creed 2,” after she took a cut out of him to prom. This week the “Black Panther” actor saw a couple of young kids while he was driving through Alabama, Birmingham and decided to surprise them.

Michael posted the video on his Instagram and it melted our hearts. In the caption, the actor explains that he saw “the young Kings driving back from the set of Creed 2, and they were standing in their school parking lot doing jumping jacks in 90-degree Alabama Birmingham heat!” The actor goes on to explain, “The sight of them inspires me and reminds me why I do what I do!!”

I WANT THE THRONE!! #BlackPanther in theaters now!

This goes on to show that representation matters. In the caption, Michael mentions that the kids inspired him and reminded him why he does what he does. But on the other side of things, the kids in the video were inspired by Michael as well. When Michael came up to them, they were so excited beyond words. But most importantly, they were excited because they go to meet Killmonger from “Black Panther.” This is why representation matters. When “Black Panther first came out, the black community was excited to see ourselves on the big screen as leads in a superhero movie.

Michael may have made those young King’s day, but he made ours too.
