‘Black-ish’ Celebrates 100 Episodes
Tracee Ellis Ross posted a celebratory post of Instagram with the caption, “Congrats to the entire blackish ABC family: our incredible cast, wonderful crew, and amazing writers on such an amazing accomplishment! And what a blessing to experience this for the second time in my career.”
The cast of ABC’s genius comedy, “Black-ish” is celebrating 100 episodes.
On the post, there is an image of Dre’s (Anthony Anderson), sneakers and another image that said “Rainbow Johnson is a Doctor who kills,” written on a napkin.
The official Instagram “Black-ish” page posted a picture of the cast and the producers of the show. Blackish going onto 100 episodes is an amazing milestone.
Black-ish first came onto the scene in 2014, and it was and still is critically acclaimed. Being such an excellent well-written show lead Black-ish to many award nominations, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Tracee Ellis Ross, Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Black-ish also has a spin-off series following Yara Shahidi, who plays Zoey Johnson on Freeform. Looking back to the last 4 years, Black-ish has had an impact on everyday conflicts with social and political issues. They have attacked topics such as racism, LGBT, and police brutality. We also love how the cast is more like a family behind cameras. Recently, Tracee posted a video captioned “Johnson Girls” with Yara Shahidi and Marsai Martin.
